DANISH Theodor
Ulrichsen was born on May 28, 1905 in Copenhagen. He went to the
Academy of Fine Arts (Copenhagen) in the early 1920's and studied
under the famous L.A. Ring (1854-1933). He made a study tour through
Germany (1929-30).The old villages of Denmark and Copenhagen canal
scenes are his favorite subjects, and his paintings of Danish rural
villages are reminiscent of his former teacher's painting style.
Theodor Ulrichsen's drawings have been reproduced in publications
from the Danish National Museum in Copenhagen. |
